INGREDIENTS
(For 5 buns)
- 150 gr 2% fat milk at room temperature
- 1 tablespoon of olive oil
- 1 tablespoon of yeast
- ½ vanilla
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 250 gr whole wheat flour
- ¼ teaspoon of gillyflower powder
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
- Salt
- ½ orange zest
- 25 gr of raisins
- Sesame
INSTRUCTIONS
In a mixer add milk, olive oil, yeast, vanilla and sugar and mix.
Set aside for 20 minutes to allow yeast activation.
In a bowl add flour, gillyflower, cinnamon, salt, orange zest and raisins and stir well.
Add both mixtures in a mixer and mix for 5-8 minutes.
Transfer the dough in an oiled bowl, cover it with a plastic membrane and let it sit for 1 hour.
Separate the dough in 5 pieces, add raisins and some sesame and move the buns to a large
pan over cooking paper.
Bake in 180C for 40 minutes.
