Mushroom Burger

INGREDIENTS

(for 2 burgers):

  • 2 burger buns
  • 2 lettuce leaves
  • 2 slices of tomato
  • 2 slices of melting cheese
  • 200 gr. white mushrooms
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp rosemary
  • 1/2 bunch parsley, chopped
  • A little flour for shaping
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Chop the onions and mushrooms.

Pour olive oil into a frying pan over medium heat and then add the onions. When they turn brown, add the mushrooms, garlic powder, salt, pepper and rosemary and cook until soft.

Transfer the contents of the pan to a blender and grind it.

Put the contents of the blender in a bowl together with the egg, chopped parsley and breadcrumbs. Add as much flour as needed to make the mixture workable.

Form two patties and cook them in a non-stick pan with a little oil.

Just before they are ready, put the slices of cheese on top of the burgers to melt them.

Heat the buns a little in the non-stick pan.

Assemble the burgers by putting the vegetables and the burger with the cheese inside the bread.

Serve with a green salad.
