Black eyed peas with cottage cheese

INGREDIENTS
  • 30 gr of black-eyed peas
  • Some freshly chopped onion
  • 400 gr of sea weeds
  • ½ bunch of chopped parsley
  • 200 gr of cottage cheese
  • 2 drops of tabasco
  • Juice from 1 medium size lemon
  • 3 tablespoons of olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

Place the water and the black-eyed peas in a deep pot and boil at a high temperature for 5-6 minutes.

Strain, add 1 ½ lit of water and boil for another 20-25 minutes.

Meanwhile, boil the sea weed in salted water for 3-4 minutes.

Strain and put in a bowl. Add the black-eyed peas, the onion, the basil, oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Mix and add the cottage cheese.
